Why I Started Her Bridge Collective

Demeara Virgil is the founder of Her Bridge Collective, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering girls and women through mentoring, personal growth programs, and safe, supportive spaces. Our programs are designed to help girls and women build confidence, resilience, and leadership—whether they are navigating challenges, seeking guidance, or benefiting from trauma-informed support.

Through years of community involvement and advocacy, Demeara has witnessed the impact of trauma and other challenges on some girls and women, while also recognizing that many simply need encouragement, mentorship, and a safe place to grow.

Her Bridge Collective offers workshops, group discussions, mentoring, and creative activities to foster self-discovery, confidence, and connection.

Demeara’s passion for this work is rooted in her commitment to helping girls and women discover their voice, strength, and purpose. Through Her Bridge Collective, she continues to serve the community with compassion, intention, and a vision for lasting positive impact.
